Open House @ The Cottage

We have a new home.

Thanks to the work and donations of dozens of generous human beings, Tapestry Farms is settling in to our new office space that we call The Cottage. Nestled in on the historic Annie Wittenmyer campus in Davenport, the stone and brick building is comfortable, welcoming, functional, and beautiful.

We are eternally grateful to Humble Dwellings for the absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous design - with almost all gently used and donated furniture and decor; City of Davenport for the opportunity and support; and Tapestry Farms staff, volunteers, partners, vendors, and donors who cheered us on, painted, inspired us to think big, washed windows, painted, gave so many things, put down flooring, made our new sign, moved our belongings, gave us house plants, tore out an old closet, fixed stuff, cleared away brush, installed new lights, painted, set up our hydroponic tower, assembled shelving, cleaned, cut wires, organized, created works of art, made lettering, and....painted.

Did we mention that we painted?

To celebrate, we are hosting an open house on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4-7 p.m. Address is 2800 Eastern Avenue, Building G, Davenport. It's on the southwest side of campus. Park behind Building I, kitty-corner from us. Come see! Eat some treats from Blue Spruce Bakery. Sit for a while on the porch swing. We'll be happy to see you.
